Kiva, a NW Indiana native, has been passionate about locally sourced food and a healthy lifestyle since childhood. Raised by YogaKids co-founders, his upbringing emphasized mindful nutrition and well-being. Whether exploring the family's organic garden, collecting eggs from pet chickens, or cooking in their vegetarian kitchen, these early memories shaped Kiva's passion and commitment to nourishing others.
A graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a bachelor's degree in Food & Beverage Management and Culinary Arts, Kiva refined his skills at renowned establishments like Kimpton Restaurants and Hotels, Lettuce Entertain You, and currently at Tock. In his current role, Kiva uses his extensive restaurant experience to make a broader impact on the industry.
In his free time, Kiva wears many hats—selling real estate with @ Properties, managing a few Chicago Airbnbs, diving into GCM, and returning home to whip up feasts with the markets many treasures. He cherishes moments with his wife Sara, their cat Otis, friends, and family.
